2015 "Best of IBS" Award Goes to Marvin Windows and Doors Next Generation Double Hung

WARROAD, MN. January 27, 2015 / PRNewswire

Marvin Windows and Doors Next Generation Double Hung was awarded with the 2015 Best of IBS Award at the International Builders Show last week in Las Vegas, Nevada. The award was given by the National Association of Home Builderes (NAHB). The panel of judges included reporters and building professionals who selected the Next Generation Double Hung out of hundreds of applicants as the best and most innovative new window product for 2015. Marvin was awarded the prestigious accolade for its reinvention of the classic window with state-of-the-art technology designed with American craftsmanship, transforming a traditional-looking window into a hardware product with a modern design.

The hardware system involved in the Next Generation Double Hung has the look of a traditional double hung look and comes in a round top version and an IMPACT version for regions easily affected by hurricanes. "This new window is a great example of what Marvin does best - create a product that is beautifully designed, and that answers our customers' needs for functionality and performance. We're so proud of this window, and are honored to be chosen by the NAHB as one of the best and most innovative products on the market in 2015," said Director of Marketing at Marvin Windows and Doors, Christine Marvin.

NAHB's Conventions and Meetings Committee Chair, Jerry Konter, said "With a record number of product submissions, the competition for this year's Best of IBS awards was fierce. THe 2015 winners represent the best and most innovative products on the market, and we are please to be able to honor them today."
